About Ackerman Gunsmithing
Ackerman Gunsmithing was established in November of 1978 by Rick Ackerman,
after graduating from a two-year course at the Colorado School of Trades.
He moved to Bemidji in 1979 to work at his profession in a local sporting
goods store, and set up his own gun and repair shop on Irvine Avenue.
Ackerman Gunsmithing specializes in high-grade gun repair for all makes
and models of rifles, shotguns and handguns. Ackerman's has an extensive
inventory of parts, and if he doesn't have what you're looking for, he can
most likely find it.
Rick is a certified NRA instructor for rifle, shotgun, pistol and home defense
training.
